The organizing Committee of the 2018 world Cup: all services are fully ready for the fans with disabilities



Director of sustainable development Department of the organizing Committee “Russia-2018” Milan Vergunov said that the entire infrastructure of the world Cup fully prepared for people with disabilities, reports TASS. Almost completed also training volunteers who will assist fans with disabilities at all world Cup stadiums.

“In all stadiums of the world Cup we’ve created an affordable infrastructure for all groups of people with disabilities. At special places offer great views of the field, and most importantly, the tickets are the same as for all citizens of Russia, this ticket is the most affordable price point,” said Verchenova.

According to the representative of the organizing Committee of the 2018 world Cup, all work on the creation of an accessible environment for fans with disabilities. “Now we have almost finished the training of our volunteers, so during world Cup, all services will be available in full,” she said.

Previously, we reported that Senator Edward Isakov at a special seminar stated that all inspected objects of the world championship on football of 2018 which will pass in Russia, adapted for people with disabilities. After carrying out CHM-2018 disabled people will be able to use these facilities for physical training and sports.

We also wrote about the fact that during the world Cup, which will be held in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15 will ensure accessibility for people with disabilities. For them there are special places in the stands, mobile teams will help them when traveling, in the stadiums they can take advantage of Golf carts.
