On the basis of the equestrian club “Viva” in Vologda, built an indoor arena to practice ippoterapia, according to “Agency for social information”. To do hippotherapy, it will be possible all year round and in any weather. Therapeutic horse riding at the club involved children with cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, special needs.
“Now we’re training in the rain and sleet – depending on who and in what weather you will get. Thanks to built the arena work will be more comfortable,” – said the Deputy Chairman of the city public organization of KSK “Vivat” Lyudmila Comyn.
Now the club has two qualified specialist in hippotherapy, each of which has about 50 sessions per month. Therapeutic horse riding at the club involved children with cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, special needs. They not only do horseback riding, and communicate with animals.
“Instead of having to run around the clinic, it is better to engage in a therapy that brings joy to the child and the family as a whole, – considers mum of the child who is in the club. My child is two years old, he has a neuromuscular disease. It would seem that the lesson is only 20 minutes – still tired. After all, what’s the point? The child is afraid to fall off the horse – he mobilized all muscle groups and systems in the body.”
At the moment, “Vivat” – only in the Voronezh club, where there are riding lessons and where the lessons and hippotherapy. After appearing in the club’s indoor arena, the organizers plan to hold it competitions of different levels – from local to nationwide.
