Roszdravnadzor: 75% of Russians monetized benefits, abandoning the free drugs



The head of Roszdravnadzor Mikhail Murashko said that 75% of Russians monetized benefits and refused to reimbursed drugs, which led to the violation of the principle of insurance provision of medicine, reports TASS. In his opinion, that in many regions of the country to get them can’t even those people who are entitled to preferential provision of medicines.

According to Murashko, many people monetizirovat benefits, after receiving the money they need to give them free medicines on the basis of state guarantees. This, according to the head of Roszdravnadzor, leads to razblokirovanie system of preferential provision of medicines.

Many beneficiaries refused free medicines, have a disability and have to take prescription medication. “Of course, not all of which need constant medication, but most of them. It (the system of preferential provision of medicines) was created in order to minimize health problems, admission to hospitals,” said Murashko.

As informs RIA “news” in some regions of the Russian Federation the right to preferential provision of medicines retained less than 10% of beneficiaries. For example, in Chechnya, they are 5,6%, in Orel region – 7.1 per cent.

“The problem of the deficit of funds for the purchase of medicines to ensure certain categories of citizens is characterized, mainly, for the subjects of the Russian Federation, where there is a substantial proportion of persons refused social services in the form of provision of medicines”, – said Deputy Minister of health of Russia Natalia Choirs, less than 15% of the citizens, preserving the right to free medicinal maintenance in the republics of Dagestan, Mordovia, Mari El Republic, the Belgorod region, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Kostroma and Nizhny Novgorod region”.
