In the regions of Russia from 27 November to 8 December will operate a hotline call to which all interested persons can receive consultations on HIV infection and its prevention, according to the website of Rospotrebnadzor. About hotlines and contact telephone numbers can be found on the official websites of the directorates of the Rospotrebnadzor for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The hotline will be the nationwide campaign STOP HIV/AIDS, which runs from 27 November to 3 December, the Fund socially-cultural initiatives Svetlana Medvedeva, together with other public organizations and state authorities.
“The goal of the campaign was to attract public attention to the problem of the spread of the disease on the territory of Russia, as well as uniting efforts of state authorities and public organizations in order to raise the awareness of students, parents and teachers about the problems of HIV infection in adolescents and the youth, development and support of volunteerism, social activity of young people on the prevention of HIV infection, the formation of the valuable attitude towards their health and the health of others”, – is spoken in the message.
Calling the hotline one can learn about the situation with HIV infection in the region, to consult on issues of prevention and safe behavior, as well as the possibility of anonymous and free testing. The questions will be answered by specialists of Rospotrebnadzor and Centers of hygiene and epidemiology.
