1-3 December 2017, Moscow will host the III national championship of professional skills among people with disabilities”, Abilympics”, which is scheduled to hold a competition, business, vocational and cultural programs.
The organizers of the National championship are the Ministry of education and science, Ministry of labour, the Ministry of communications of Russia, Ministry of culture, Government of Moscow, of the “Russian state social University” and the public organization of persons with disabilities.
The conduct of professional skills contests for persons with disabilities allows you to create a system that provides efficient, professional orientation and motivation of people with disabilities to vocational training, to promote employment and social inclusion in society.
The Ministry of industry and trade organised an exhibition of Russian innovative equipment tailored to the needs of disabled persons of different nosological groups and technical means of rehabilitation of Russian producers. And holds a meeting On “practice for the employment of people with disabilities in industrial enterprises” with participation of representatives of the departments for work with personnel of industrial enterprises.
In the competition for 85 professional competencies will involve about 900 contestants, winners of regional Championships, and 500 experts from 75 regions of the Russian Federation. The competition is held in three categories: among pupils, students and professionals of working age the number of people with disabilities of various nosologies of all ages.
In the framework of the National championship provided a comprehensive business programme, which will include discussions and round tables to discuss key questions of implementation of the state policy on inclusive education, employment of persons with disabilities, will participate and share their expertise with international experts in the field of training and employment of people with disabilities.
