In the framework of the project “Inclusive tourism in Buryatia and lake Baikal” in the history Museum of Buryatia in Ulan-Ude opened an interactive platform for people with disabilities “Tactile Yurt”, reports TASS. The exhibits here not only can see but also to touch and even try on, the notes on the page of the Museum in the social network Vkontakte. The exposition is designed for people with visual impairments, but to see her able and wheelchair users.

“Our Yurt is a space for people with disabilities. It is possible through the Museum’s exhibition space and tactile study of ethnographic objects to gain additional knowledge about the traditional culture of the Buryats”, — told in the Museum.

“Tactile Yurt” was created on the basis of existing in the Museum Yurt oligarchia – Buryat folk storyteller, the carrier and Keeper of traditional folklore. The exposition was supplemented with exhibits that you can touch and even try on – there is a traditional Buryat costumes. Now people with visual impairments can “see” how this or that object, examining it with his hands.

At the entrance to the tent is now Serge (hitching post), the yurta is divided into right – left and female – the male half, just like in a real Buryat Yurt.
